Our presence in Lebanon has been strengthened as, very recently, our Multilateral Projects partners have been awarded a new project funded by the European Union.
From September 2021, for a period of 24 months, and together with our consortium partners – CIDEAL Foundation for Cooperation and Research, OCA GLOBAL Consulting and Technical Advisory Services, S.L., Earth Link and Advanced Resources Development S.A.L. – we will lead the implementation of the contract ‘Technical Assistance to the Local Dialogue and Capacity Building Platform to the Union of Municipalities Governorates of Bekaa Valley, Baalbak_Hermel, Nabatiyeh and South Lebanon’.
The overall objective of this contract is to contribute to stability in Lebanon by promoting local development and enhancing the socio-economic resilience of the local population along the Litani river basin, mainly through strengthening the institutional capacities of local authorities, and promoting cooperation modalities and policy dialogue.
